Not a great picture, but I made a lemon blueberry poundcake using the recipe from this book, Bake by Nick Malgieri. I love all of his baking books, all the recipes turn out great! The icing looks super thick in this picture, but it really was not, the up close picture makes it look like a ton of icing, but it was really just the perfect amount!
It is very opaque and set up really well using the recipe from the book that said to heat the powdered sugar icing slightly, to around 110 degrees. I microwaved the mixture for around 8-10 seconds and it worked well to make a it an icing instead of glaze. Neat trick!
