“I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape – the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn’t show.” — Andrew Wyeth
The sun was setting and I looked up and saw the tiny sliver of the moon in the darkening sky. A thumbnail moon. The slightest pink halo around the tree from the sun setting is the best part of taking pictures at this time of day.
I have always loved the stark contrast of the trees against the sky after the leaves have all fallen. The bone structure of trees being revealed in all their detail, I find that so visually appealing.
